Summer Racing Series Results
August 25, 2019 - Race #4
We had everything from 3 to 15 today. Plus plenty of current! Ben, Walt and Alex did a great job running 6 races in changing conditions.
July 28, 2019 - Race #3
Those that didn't make the races missed a nice day of sailing. A little light, winds were pretty much 5-8 with some higher gusts later in the day...maybe to 10 knots. But sunny all day and some great racing with the group of 10 lasers and Hobie 1's.
The racing was really tight, as you can see in the results. Some races had boats finishing in succession one second apart! I included the times so those that were racing can see how close things were, and how the ratings changed things around compared to elapsed finish times. It was very interesting out there.
Below are the results for the day, followed by the elapsed and corrected times data. I hope it all makes sense to everyone.
June 23, 2019 - Race #2
Below are the results from yesterdays racing. It was light winds, very puffy and shifty. In a word, Challenging. But Richard showed us all how to get around the course in those conditions, with Gary barely sneaking out a head of Danielle for 2nd.
May 26, 2019 - Race #1
Below are the results from yesterdays races. The winds were light to very light. But we did manage to get 5 races in after moving the marks a few times. Thanks for putting up with the race committee trying to see where the wind was going to come from next. We didn't always guess right.
I hope you can follow the results below. The first table has all of the elapsed time and then corrected times. Then for the 5 races. Finally the overall for the day. Since we didn't have 6 races, there isn't a throw out race, so all your races counted. Great job everyone!
